The 2nd World Congress on Sports Injury Prevention from June 26 through June 28 includes 81 international invited speakers from all over the world who will deliver an outstanding program of keynote lectures and symposia. In addition, there will be 21 workshops and 188 abstracts will be presented with the most recent research findings.

A new feature of the congress program is the Advanced Team Physician Course, a pre-congress satellite event which will take place in the fabled Lofoten Islands. The course will be held at Svinøya rorbuer in Svolvær, Lofoten from June 21 through June 24, 2008. Course participants will be transported by chartered boat from Svolvær to Tromsø on June 25th. For the Advanced Team Physician Course, priority will be given to physicians who are also registered for the 2nd World Congress on Sports Injury Prevention. So be sure to register early!
