Aasne Fenne Hoksrud (MD) has completed the Medical Research Curriculum at the University of Bergen (UiB).

In May 2012, Aasne currently defended her PhD-thesis "Treatment in patients with patellar tendinopathy" at the University of Oslo.

Aasne is a national team caliber orienteerer, and she also enjoys competitive cross-country skiing.
