Marianne has a bachelor degree from the Oslo University College (2004). She hasbeen an exchange student to University of Sydney, School of Physiotherapy. Currently, Marianne is a master student at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences.

 

Earlier, Marianne has worked 1.5 years as a physiotherapist for 2 football teams in Kenyan Premier League, and taught sports medicine and prevention training for different sports organizations in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. She has been responsible for the First-Aid at different football tournaments in Kenya and Tanzania. She has taught "The 11+", tested and rehabilitated sports injuries at FIFA Futuro III course in Kenya.

 

Marianne is particularly interested in football medicine, and to increase and spread the knowledge of sports medicine in Africa. Her master project is dedicated to this issue as well. Marianne has been an active football and handball player.
