Odd-Egil Olsen PT PhD is authorized as Specialist in Rehabilitation in Orthopaedic Physiotherapy by the Norwegian Physiotherapy Federation. He has an appropriate period from his research scientist work at the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences to August 2007. His main research area has been sports injury prevention in young players in team handball.

After his PhD- and research period at the OSTRC, he continued to work at as a chair for PTs at Alta Opptreningssenteret i Finnmark.
