PhD candidateCV
Lena Kristin Bache-Mathiesen works with the PhD-project «Improving the Methodology of Training Load and Injury Research: An Analysis of Analyses» at Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center. She’s researching which methods are most optimal to determine the relationship between training load and risk of injury.
Lena has three years of experience as a statistician in Health Bergen. Here, she was a consultant for the Norwegian medical quality registries. In addition, she’s worked nine months as a biostatistician in the research department of Stavanger University Hospital. She has a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a master’s degree in Ecology and Evolution, which involved a master’s project heavily weighted in statistics.
